Com-firm's motive: Mt. Kilimanjaro
Our first challenge was in 2003: climbing the 5.895m high Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Together with the Swedish Viking, Jan, we climbed to the top in four days via the Machame-route.
The last day was the heaviest part. Around midnight we started with the last ascent. Shortly after sunset we reached the top and witnessed a magnificent view. After 16 hours we were back at a height of 3.200 metres. The greatest joy was a warm foot bath despite the fact that Mr Bigfoot from Sweden had already washed his feet in it.
New challenges
